Occupant thermal comfort is of prime importance when we evaluate the effectiveness of any building HVAC system. Achieving a desired thermal comfort is challenging as it depends on many factors including ducting layout, supply, and returns arrangement, occupant density, occupant activity, and external environmental conditions. There is not a single perfect tool to quickly and easily estimate the comfort conditions for different design configurations and scenarios. simulationHub is working on a state-of-the-art thermal comfort app which will change the way HVAC systems are designed and evaluated.
