Overview
As a valve design engineer, have you ever wished you could quickly run a valve simulation to determine the flow capacity of your design and optimize it, without waiting days or needing specialized CFD knowledge?
Imagine starting your first valve flow simulation in less time than your coffee break. With Autonomous Valve CFD (AVC), you can start your very first valve simulation in under 10 minutes. Yes, it’s that simple and easy. Join this webinar to see how this AI-powered cloud-based simulation app is changing valve engineering forever.
From Design to Simulation: Streamlining Valve Design with AVC
Understanding the flow through a valve is crucial for achieving an optimal valve design. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations help predict valve performance and provide valuable insights into the flow physics. This process typically involves running a series of CFD simulations at different valve openings (from minimum to maximum) and calculating the Cv value at each condition. With the advent of cloud computing, virtual testing of designs and performance optimization are now possible through a cloud-based CFD app, significantly reducing the need for physical prototypes.
Autonomous Valve CFD (AVC) is a cloud-based application that predicts valve performance using fluid flow simulations. The app offers autonomous workflows, an intuitive UI design tailor-made for valve designers, allowing them to run flow simulations on their valve geometry and compute key performance curves, such as the valve flow coefficient (Cv) and the coefficient of hydrodynamic torque (Cdt).
