Overview
Green building certification is becoming increasingly important for optimizing capital expenditure (CapEx), reducing operational expenditure (OpEx), minimizing environmental impact, and meeting sustainability goals. But how can a building qualify for green certification? The answer lies in understanding green building rating systems and demonstrating performance through the right analysis.
In this webinar, we’ll explore the IGBC Green New Buildings Rating System v4.0 and how building performance simulations can help project teams meet certification requirements and earn credit points. We’ll examine how energy simulation, daylight simulation, and life cycle carbon analysis contribute to green building certification, while also exploring how Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) supports occupant comfort and healthier indoor environments.
During this webinar, we will discuss:
  • Introduction to IGBC v4.0: Understanding the rating system, its certification levels, mandatory requirements, and credit structure.
  • Building Performance Analysis: Exploring how simulation can support certification requirements and contribute up to 23–24 credit points. This will include whole-building energy performance, daylight availability, embodied and operational carbon, indoor airflow, thermal comfort.
  • Live Q&A and Discussion: Get your questions answered and explore the role of simulation in green building design.
Join us to discover how building performance simulation can go beyond certification checklists—helping architects, MEP engineers, sustainability consultants, and project teams make informed design decisions, improve building performance, and work towards greener, more sustainable buildings.
